Galway business, GoBus.ie awarded the prize for Coach Operator of the Year 2020 - Intercity category at the Fleet Bus & Coach Awards.

On Thursday 14th of November, Galway’s GoBus.ie added to their impressive list of awards and accolades as they won Coach Operator of the year 2020 – Intercity at the Fleet Bus & Coach Awards. GoBus.ie, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is locally owned and operated by Managing Director; Jim Burke and his sons Dara, Transport Manager and Donal, Fleet Engineer from Corofin Co. Galway.

The company provides Non Stop round-the-clock services between Galway, Dublin and Dublin Airport and Cork, Dublin and Dublin Airport and earlier this year set up its first Regional Connect Route between Ballina, Castlebar, Claremorris, Tuam and Galway City.

Jim Burke has said that he “is delighted to have won the award. The entire GoBus.ie team work extremely hard on making sure our passengers have the most comfortable and convenient trip possible. We update our fleet every year so when travelling GoBus.ie, a passenger can be assured of every modern convenience whether they want to work or relax while on board.”

The Fleet Bus & Coach Awards take place every two years and is organised by Fleet Publications, the largest publisher of transport-orientated magazines in Ireland. This year, the awards were held in the 4 Star Johnstown Estate in Enfield, Co. Meath with the key decision makers of Irish Passenger Transport Industry in attendance.
