Wild Youth - back in Galway for headline show

Group caps off an impressive year with Irish tour taking in the Róisín Dubh

THIS SUMMER, they supported The Academic in the Big Top during the Galway International Arts Festival. As the year draws to a close, they return to Galway, this time as headliners.

Wild Youth - David Whelan, Conor O’ Donohue, Ed Porter and Callum McAdam - play the Black Box Theatre on Friday December 13 at 7.30pm, as part of an Irish tour capping off a successful year.

2019 began with the release of the The Last Goodbye EP which debuted at No 5 in the Irish Albums Charts. They then sold-out their first headline show in The Olympia Theatre in March, supported The Script in London’s Royal Albert Hall, and performed to a packed-out house in London’s OMEARA, run by Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett. They supported Westlife in Corke Park and in September played the main stage slot at Electric Picnic. Little wonder Hot Press called them "a group on the edge of something truly great".

Support is from Ryan Mack. This is a 'Róisín Dubh presents...' show. Tickets are available from www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and the Róisín Dubh.
