THE RIPTIDE Movement have just released the new single, 'Is This What We’re All Living For?’ and as part of their current Irish tour, come to Galway at the end of the month to play the Róisín Dubh.
The single, described by Indie Buddie as "snappy rock‘n’roll...with its shredding guitars, groove infested rhythm, and passionate melody", is taken from the band's latest EP, Something Special, which was released in August. The EP has already enjoyed more than 170,000 streams on Spotify, while the title track and 'I'll Be There' received airtime on national radio.
The Riptides have released four albums, played the mainstage at Electric Picnic, and supported the Rolling Stones in London's Hyde Park. Maximum Volume Music has declared them, "a band that refuses to be pigeonholed, magnificent songwriters.”
The Riptide Movement play the Róisín Dubh on Friday November 29 at 8pm. Tickets are available from www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and the Róisín Dubh.
