Skoda has released a design sketch providing the first glimpse of the new Octavia. The new design language ensures the fourth generation of the best-selling model in the history of the company will have a much more emotive look. Skoda claims it will also combine compact dimensions with a generous amount of interior space.
The design sketches show the Octavia liftback’s elongated, flowing silhouette seems to give it a coupé-like roofline. However, this is not visible from a picture of a heavily disguised version being tested on public roads.
With 2,209 units sold in 2019, the Octavia is the fourth best-selling car in Ireland. The new Octavia is expected to arrive in Ireland in late 2020.
