Ajla Restaurant, Clarinbridge, will hold a special fundraiser tomorrow (Friday ) evening in aid of Self Help Africa. Elaine Joyce Cunningham, from Ardrahan, has decided to host a very special fundraising event called A Taste of Italy, with all proceeds going to the charity.
A Taste of Italy will be of a 10 course banquet of authentic Italian food and good wine. Inspired by her late mother Maria, who was a true Italian mama, and a wonderful cook, and with the help of family, friends, and a committee, this promises to be an evening to remember.
Self Help Africa works with communities in 10 countries in Africa, providing families with the ability to produce more food, earn more from their farming activities, and helping mothers and fathers to provide better lives for their children. Self Help Africa, with the input of renowned fundraiser Ronan Scully, is encouraging people to buy tickets for this special Italian banquet.
