A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Eye

Shakespeare's magical comedy of transformation, jealousy, and mischief on tonight

A MIDSUMMER Night’s Dream, Shakespeare's magical comedy of transformation, jealousy, mischief, and mythology, recorded at London's Bridge Theatre, will be shown at The Eye this evening at 7pm.

A feuding fairy king and queen of the forest, cross paths with four runaway lovers and a troupe of actors trying to rehearse a play. As their dispute grows, the magical royal couple meddle with mortal lives leading to love triangles and mistaken identities, with hilarious consequences.

The production stars Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones ), Oliver Chris, David Moorst, and Hammed Animashaun (The Barber Shop Chronicles ) as Titania, Oberon, Puck, and Bottom. It is directed by Nicholas Hytner.
