Tree down - Tree leaning across road, potential to fall near Derryoober school R352. Road passable at present. - has been notified to Galway County Council crew to address

Debris - Sheerwater Hotel, Ballinalsoe - barriers are down and swaying along the side of the road out on to the main road beside the hotel - has been notified to Galway County Council crew to address

Tree down on the Ahascragh to Killure Road – over the bridge from Ahascragh Village which is blocking half of the roadway - has been notified to Galway County Council crew to address

Cases resolved:

Road Clear – Tree has been removed - There is a fallen tree blocking half the N65 Portumna to Killimor Road between Portumna and Killimor. Galway Co Co on site and it is in the process of being removed.

Road Clear – Tree has been removed - There is a fallen tree on the N59 between Moycullen and Oughterard close to Oughterard Golf Club. Galway Co Co on call crew are on the way to address.

Road Clear – Tree has been removed - There is a fallen tree at Glenaclara East, Loughrea, Co. Galway H62 AY16. Galway Co Co on call crew are on the way to address.

The key message is for people to stay safe during this weather event. Driving conditions remain hazardous and drivers need to take care and be conscious of cyclists and pedestrians. Flying debris, fallen trees and powerlines remain a risk.
