In these difficult financial times everybody tries to save a few euros here and there. What better way to do that than to de-clutter, sell your wares, and maybe find some cheap bargains at the same time.
Sounds good? Well then, roll up your sleeves, clear out the attic, shed, or whatever else, and get down to the jumble sale which is to take place at the Shantalla Community Centre on Saturday, April 18, from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
Another good reason to get involved is not only do you get to maybe make some money or pick up a bargain but you also get to do it for a worthy cause. The sale will be held in aid of Blythswood Care.
Blythswood Care is a charitable Christian organisation, which has been involved in long term care projects in areas of particular need in Eastern Europe. Its annual Shoe Box Appeal brightens Christmas for more than 100,000 needy people.
There will be tea, coffee, and refreshments. Only a few tables will be provided for a stall so bring a table if possible. Each stall costs €15. Buyers are more than welcome and there is a free entrance.
