The people of Galway and its surrounding areas are treated to a special appearance by renowned Naturopath, Prof. Jan De Vries who visited Galway last week to officially unveil Evergreen Healthfoods’ new look store on Mainguard Street in the city centre.
Author of many books on natural health and healing, and now in his seventies, Jan de Vries has busy clinics in Dublin, Belfast and Scotland.
A favourite of The Afternoon Show on RTE 1 Television, Jan de Vries has spent fifty years training and working in the area of natural health. Having first qualified as a pharmacist, Jan is also a practitioner of acupuncture, homeopathy and iridology.
Speaking after the event, Mr de Vries said this is the most beautiful health store I have ever seen, and I have visited many in the last 50 years! The proprietors Aideen and Kieran Hurley have made an outstanding contribution to Galway over the past 17 years and I wish them the best with this new store as they serve the needs of the public for many years to come.’
