THE 25TH Junior Galway Film Fleadh take places in the Pálás Cinema from Sunday November 10 to Thursday 14, with weekend screenings, educational screenings, workshops, and an Irish language short film outreach programme.
The festival will also host the Future Filmmakers strand for aspiring young film-makers. Submissions are open for those aged from 11 to 18 who individually, or as part of a group of friends, school, college, summer camp, youth or sports club, who have made a short film.
The film can be shot on a phone, camera, or tablet, and can be in any genre. It must be under 12 minutes and have been made since December 2017. Prizes include €250, work experience on Fleadh TV in July 2020, and a week’s summer animation or drama camp sponsored by Galway Film Centre.
