Belfast comics for the Comedy KARLnival

Dave Elliot to headline with support from William Thompson

DAVE ELLIOT has been called “one of the stand out acts on the Northern Irish comedy scene” by the Belfast Telegraph, while John Bishop described him as "fantastic!”. Galway will see why next week.

Dave Elliot headlines the Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday September 24. One of the stars of the BBC NI sketch show Late Licence and Radio Ulster comedy shows, Live at the Sunflower and The Shane Todd Show, he has been making waves since hitting the comedy circuit in 2014. He also has two weekly podcasts, Boy Town which he co-hosts with fellow comic Shane Todd, and his own Dave Elliott’s Weird Podcast.

Also on the bill is William Thompson from Belfast, who mixes dark observational comedy with cheeky quips. Support is from Barry Hopkins. The MC is Karl Spain.

Doors are at 8pm. Tickets are €6 from the Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; or OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €8 at the door.
