Spanish classes start next week at the Spanish Institute

The new term at The Spanish Institute, starting on September 16, will offer a variety of Spanish classes to all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. The new schedule of courses is available on the institute’s website www.spanishinstitute.ie and on its Facebook page Spanish Institute. The Institute also offers one-to-one classes, both face-to-face and online.

All of the courses offered at The Spanish Institute are designed to be fun and interactive. With a heavy emphasis on everyday oral communication, the beginners’ course is the ideal introduction to Spanish for those who plan to travel to Spain or Latin America. The more advanced courses can help learners to progress steadily through the learning levels, improving their confidence and ability in terms of both conversational and grammatical skills. The institute's fully qualified teachers are all native Spanish speakers committed to finding the right course for each student and helping them to meet their individual language learning goals.

Spanish is by far one of the most popular languages, and with 500 million speakers worldwide across 44 countries on five continents, it is easy to see why. Many Irish people regularly make leisure or business trips to Spain and Latin America and enjoy the Spanish culture and food that is so popular in Galway due to our shared historical connections. The Spanish Institute hopes to celebrate and preserve this connection and encourages local people to enjoy the Spanish language and culture. Along with language courses, the school will offer a variety of Hispanic cultural events, conversation classes, pronunciation labs, Spanish cinema evenings, and immersion trips open to everyone.
