Les Misérables goes Beyond The Barricade

Acclaimed show arrives in Galway next week as part of 20th Anniversary celebrations

BEYOND THE Barricade, Britain’s longest running musical theatre concert tour, featuring past principal West End performers from Les Misérables, arrives in Galway next week as part of its is 20th Anniversary celebrations.

Beyond the Barricade is Britain’s longest running musical theatre concert tour, touring extensively throughout Britain, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It comes to The Black Box Theatre on Friday September 20 at 8pm, and features David Fawcett (Valjean in the West End and Manchester ), Andy Reiss (Enjolras and resident director for Les Misérables' national tour ), Katie Leeming (Eponine in the West End ), and Poppy Tierney (Cosette in the West End and national tour ).

The four, who also featured in the Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert at London's O2 Arena, will be joined by a live band for the Galway show. As well as songs from Les Misérables, songs from The Phantom Of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Hamilton, The Lion King, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Chicago will be heard.
