PEPPA PIG is going on a day out with George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig and it is going to be her best day ever! Get ready for a road-trip involving castles, caves, dragons, dinosaurs, ice-creams, and muddy puddles.
Peppa Pig - Best Day Ever comes to the Town Hall Theatre on Monday March 30 at 4pm and Tuesday March 31 at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm. Tickets are selling very fast, so parents are being urged to book now to avoid disappointment.
Ahead of her Galway appearance, Peppa Pig spoke to the Galway Advertiser, and we asked her if she was excited about the upcoming road trip with her family and friends. "Yes. Oink! Oink! Hee Hee Hee! I’m very excited to visit loads of new places," she said. "I hope to make some more nice friends. I think it’s going to be the best ever!"
So what makes a 'best day ever' for Peppa? "Lots of adventure!" she says. "I like it when we get to drive around in our camper van and eat lots of ice cream and explore castles. And jump in muddy puddles, of course."
.
Peppa admits jumping in muddy puddles is what she is most looking forward to, and she adds that her little brother George is her favourite person to go travelling with. "But he has to bring Mr Dinosaur everywhere with him," she says.
I ask Peppa if she has been to the theatre before. "Yes, I have. Madame Gazelle took our whole class to watch Mr Potato’s Christmas Show! It was really fun." She describes what it was like to go to a theatre show. "Mummy Pig or a grown-up picks up the tickets, and then we have to find our special seats with our ticket numbers on them. Oink! Oink!" she says. "It gets dark when the lights go out, but not because it’s bedtime, it just means the show is about to start, and we all need to be quiet."
And finally, who will be joining Peppa when she brings her Best Day Ever show to Galway? "Mummy, Daddy, George, Mr Bull, Suzy Sheep, Gerald Giraffe, and some other friends. Even Miss Rabbit is coming! She is always so busy with all her jobs, so it’s extra special she can come with us."
