THE ACCLAIMED Galway poet, Kevin Higgins, will host a series of poetry workshops, with classes for both beginners and experienced, in the Galway Arts Centre, Dominick Street.
Classes for beginners and those who have been writing for some time take place on Tuesdays (7pm to 8.30pm ), starting September 24, and Fridays (2pm to 3.30pm ), starting September 27. An Advanced Poetry Workshop, for those who have participated in poetry workshops before or had poems published, is on Thursdays (2pm to 4pm ) starting September 26.
Kevin is the author of five poetry collections, all published by Salmon, including Song Of Songs 2.0: New & Selected Poems (2017 ) and Sex and Death at Merlin Park Hospital (2019 ).
