Ray Flaherty has joined KBC as a business partner in Galway.
Formerly with AIB Bank, Flaherty has some 17 years’ experience in senior client and business development roles, and is experienced across commercial lending, business relationship management, start-up finance and business portfolio management.
In his new role Flaherty will be responsible for sourcing and developing customer relationships in Galway city and county.
He holds a degree in business studies from GMIT and a professional diploma in SME credit from University College Dublin. He is also a member of the Institute of Bankers and is a fully qualified financial advisor from the Institute of Bankers.
Earlier this year, KBC extended its business banking offering which provides specialised support and a suite of products for businesses including business current accounts, business loans, business deposits, professional fee finance, tax loans and business credit cards.
