Paul Marsh to headline the Comedy KARLnival

The man declared 'a rising star of the Irish comedy scene' plays the Róisín Dubh

DESPITE COMING to stand-up later in life than most, Paul Marsh made an immediate impact on the Irish comedy scene, winning the TedFest Toilet Duck Award and the Capital Comedy Club competition.

Galway can see just why when he headlines the Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday August 27 at 8pm. He performs regularly at comedy clubs across Ireland; has played the Kilkenny Cats Laughs festival and Vodafone Comedy Carnival; and is increasingly an in-demand act in Britain as well as Ireland. The Laughter Lounge has called him "a rising star of the Irish comedy scene”, while Comedy Ireland declared, “the future of Irish comedy is in safe hands”.

Support is from John Kelly, who specialises in dark one liners. He also appears on the globally popular Facts YouTube channel. There will also be a set from Galway comic Ian Burke. The MC is Karl Spain.

Tickets are €6 in advance from Róisín Dubh; and www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €8 at the door.
