A NIGHT of traditional singing will take place in the Kinvara Community Centre this Saturday [August 10] at 8.30pm as part of the Cruinniu na mBad weekend.
Among the singers who will be performing are two former winners of the prestigious Corn Ui Riada - Brid Ní Mhaoilchiarain and Nollaig Ní Laoire. They will be joined by Brid Ní Cheannabhain, Sally Ní Dhroighneain, Peadar Ó Ceannabhain, Domhnall Ó Braonain, Sosamh Ó Flatharta and local singer, Caoilte Breatnach. Also performing will be sean nós dancer Emma O'Sullivan, and musicians Peter Parsons and Ged Foley.
The MC will be Raidio na Gaeltachta's Sean Ó hEanai.
