Chamber Philharmonia Cologne annual Galway concert

Hear the music of Vivaldi, Mozart, Paganini, and Saint-Saens in St Nicholas Collegiate Church

THE CHAMBER Philharmonia Cologne, one of Germany's finest classical music ensembles, make their annual journey to Galway, to perform works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Paganini, and Saint-Saens.

The Chamber Philharmonia (or Kammerphilharmonie Köln ) play St Nicholas Collegiate Church on Saturday August 10 at 8pm. The programme will include Vivaldi's 1720 work, 'La Tempesta de Mare'.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne regularly tours New Zealand, Australia, Spain, Great Britain, Ireland, and Germany, and performs c300 concerts a year. Since 2009 it has enjoyed a partnership with the Mercedes-Benz Centre in Cologne. The ensemble's motto is “Classical music the world over”.

Tickets are available at the door one hour prior to the concert, at €20 (adult ), €17 (pensioners ), and €12 (students/children ).
