OUTRAGEOUS, OVER the the top, always boasting an A-List cast, a brilliant soundtrack, and witty (and sometimes politically incorrect ) dialogue, Quentin Tarantino has a formula, but it works a treat.
In the run-up to the release of his ninth film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, on Wednesday August 14, the Pálás Cinema will present a retrospective of Tarantino movies.
The seasons starts with a screening of Pulp Fiction, to mark the film's 25th anniversary, today and Saturday at 9pm. Ahead of today's screening there will also be the Pulp Fiction Supper Club in the Merrow Restaurant, from 7pm, with a specially curated menu of food and drinks inspired by the film. Themed dress is encouraged. For reservations contact The Merrow (091 - 394076, [email protected] ).
The rest of the season is Reservoir Dogs (tomorrow, 9pm ); Kill Bill I and II (Sunday 8pm ); Jackie Brown (Monday, 8.30pm ); Inglourious Basterds (Wednesday August 7, 8.30pm ); Django Unchained (Sunday 11, 8.30pm ); and The Hateful Eight (Monday 12, 8.30pm ).
