Prodigal - can father and son reconcile?

Andrew Carney's one-act play gets Galway Fringe Festival revival

A FATHER and son must face each other following a family tragedy. After Séan takes his own life, Andy and his estranged father are reunited at the funeral. Can their shred grief lead to reconciliation?

This is Prodigal, Andrew Carney's one-act play, which is currently running at The Loft in Seven, Bridge Street, as part of the Galway Fringe Festival, starring Andrew and Tom Carney. The play was originally staged by Amigo Productions in Galway in 2017 and in Tuam, Milltown, and Dunmore in 2018.

Through their shared grief, father and son examine their history in an attempt to figure out what pulled them apart and if they can together, find redemption. The play is on this evening [Thursday July 18], tomorrow [Friday 19], and Sunday at 8pm.
