Award winning Roscommon pianist at Town Hall Theatre

Roscommon native Peter Regan returns to the west of Ireland for a special performance at the Town Hall Theatre tomorrow evening.

Regan began piano lessons with his local teacher, the late Anna Egan, who lived nearby in Ballyleague, but little did anyone expect he would go on to perform in Carnegie Hall New York, the NCH Dublin, or even Madrid and Malaga as recently as last week.

After years studying abroad with Irish pianist John O’Conor at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Regan is bringing his talent closer to home in Galway, and will presents his concert Fantastique in Galway Town Hall Theatre tomorrow evening (7pm ).

The programme is suited to people of all musical tastes with Beethoven’s rambunctious Les Adieux, Chopin’s tender Nocturnes Op. 27 and Franck’s commanding Prelude, Chorale and Fugue.
