“To be making theatre as my job is a privilege I am always thankful for," said Mr Doherty. "To be making work for a company like Fíbín, as their new artistic director, will be an absolute honour. I have always admired Fíbín's bold, visual style of theatre, their celebration of the Irish language, and their company's vision in the heart of Connemara. I look forward to telling new stories to connect with new audiences, and creating the spectacle of life."
