Enter Éadaín's Enchanted Forest

Irish woodlands, Christianity, and Celtic and Classical mythology inspire new exhibition

THE ENCHANTED Forest, an exhibition of oil paintings on canvas by Galway artist Éadaín, is currently running in the Ballybane Public Library, Castlepark Road.

The Enchanted Forest is inspired by wooded areas in Donegal and Galway, with symbols, creatures, and characters from Christianity, as well as Celtic and Classical mythology. Born in Dublin, Éadaín held her first solo exhibition in 1991. Since then her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions throughout Ireland and abroad.

The exhibition runs until July 31. It is the first in a series of exhibitions at the library.
