With the 192 registration period kicking off next week, Volkswagen tells us of its special offers and revised car line-up. The addition recently of the all-new T-Cross means that there is now a choice of five SUVs in the range, from the T-Cross to the T-Roc, Tiguan, Tiguan Allspace, and Touareg.
Volkswagen (VW ) tells us that its technology upgrades group some of the most desirable technology features for a special bundled price.
Some highlights of these include, on the Golf Highline model, it offers Discover Media satnav, high beam light assist, and a rear-view camera (with a value it says of €1308 ) are available for just €699. The Golf Highline is also available with PCP finance from zero per cent APR allowing a monthly repayment of €299. As always, we say, check this and all finance offering for yourself.
An R-Line Exterior Pack for the car is available from €309 per month, again with zero per cent APR PCP finance. This includes a three year service plan. There is also a €1,500 purchase contribution on TDI models, with €1,000 on petrol models. It should be noted that VW’s various purchase contribution offers of up to €2,500 on some models are confined to cars financed through Volkswagen Bank only.
The all-electric e-Golf is now also available with zero per cent PCP with a three year service plan included from €359 per month, or upgrade to the e-Golf executive edition for €389 per month.
The Polo Trendline model comes with the option of a technology upgrade which includes 15” Sassari alloys, front fog lamps, floor mats, and a multi-function steering wheel, which VW says would cost €1,140 if these items were priced individually, but with the 192 offer, cost just €599.
The Polo Trendline is available with zero per cent APR PCP finance from €169 per month on what it described as selected stock models. It adds that it is now possible to upgrade to the R-Line model from €209 per month with a 1.9 per cent PCP finance.
On the T-Roc model, as well as a special zero per cent PCP finance offer on all T-Roc models which are available from €289 per month, customers opting for the technology upgrade in the sport model get Discover Media satnav, a rear-view camera, the winter pack, and a panoramic sunroof and dynamic road sign display for €1,499, a claimed saving of €1,397 compared to the full retail price for these items.
The Tiguan Highline benefits from a €1,500 purchase contribution, plus also zero per cent PCP finance on selected models with a €359 monthly repayment on the 150bhp 2.0-litre TDI.
For the Tiguan Highline, the technology upgrade pack includes a panoramic sunroof, the easy open package, and driver assistance package, and dynamic road sign display, which Volkswagen Ireland says priced individually, would cost €3,096 but are bundled for €1,399, which is a saving of €1,697.
There is also an offer of an R-Line Exterior, 19” Sebring wheels, driver profile selection, and progressive steering from €359 per month with zero per cent APR PCP finance, available only up to June 30. This includes a three year service plan.
The Tiguan Allspace model, available with seven seats, also benefits from 192 offers, with a €1,500 purchase contribution and also zero per cent PCP finance, again available on this model up to June 30 on the comfortline model from €419 per month.
The Passat Highline range gets a €1,500 purchase contribution and now is available with an easy open package, high beam light assist, dynamic road sign display, and the driver assistance package, with what VW says is a combined value of €2,330, on offer for €599. The Passat Highline is also available with zero per cent APR PCP finance with a €339 monthly repayment. There is also the option of an R-Line exterior pack for the car at €999, giving a claimed saving of €536 compared to the full retail price.
Volkswagen Ireland says that there are similar offers for the up, Arteon, Touran, Sharan, and Touareg models with savings of up to €4,530 to be made with these technology upgrades as well as the purchase contributions of up to €2,500 and zero per cent PCP Finance on many models.
