Galway Races announced Last evening (Wednesday ) that Ireland’s leading digital destination for women, Her.ie will be taking the reins as title sponsor of the 2019 Best Dressed Ladies Competition 2019 on Thursday, August 1. This exciting new sponsorship is part of a three-year deal and marks the 150th anniversary of the iconic summer festival.
Held every year at the Ballybrit racecourse, the Galway Races attracts crowds of over 145,000 with Ladies Day widely regarded as the biggest day in the Irish Racing Calendar. Her are looking forward to bringing their own signature flair, engaging content and loyal audience to this year’s Ladies Day proceedings. Her’s dedicated Style section on site had close to 26 million page views in the past year, so they are expertly positioned to showcase all the excitement from trackside.
This year, racegoers will also enjoy a new Her Ladies Day Live Show. The trackside broadcast will capture all the atmosphere and excitement from the day, while being streamed live on Her social channels. A judging panel of experts and roving ‘style reporters’ will cover the length and breadth of the racecourse to scout out the best outfits and treat viewers to style tips from racegoers and all the behind the scenes outfit inspiration from the Her Ladies Day Best Dress Competition finalists.
The Her Ladies Day Live Show will culminate with the announcement of the Her Best Dressed Competition, with the winning lady walking away with a luxury holiday from Emirates Holidays to the Seychelles worth over €2,500 including flights, accommodation, transfers and a whopping €3,000 in cash.
A brand new judging panel and theme will also be announced in the coming weeks promising an expert voice and a new layer of appreciation for attainable fashion.
