The Spanish Institute will run summer courses for children, teenagers, and adults from next month.
Classes for children will run from June 13 to July 25 and will take place every Thursday from 5pm to 6pm. In this course children will learn Spanish in a fun way through crafts and games. The fee for this seven week course will be €75 with the material included.
A course for teenagers will run from June 17 to June 28. Classes will take place Monday to Friday, from 11am to 12.30pm for beginners and from 1pm to 2.30pm for improvers. These courses will combine learning practical Spanish with fun activities and can serve to prepare for future study or exams such as the Junior and Leaving Certificate. The fee for these 15 hour courses will be €160 with the material included.
The institute will also run two practical Spanish courses for adults. The Express I, for people with no previous knowledge, will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This course will run from June 11 to July 30. The Express II, for people with at least 12 hours of study, will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. This course will run from June 12 to July 31. The fee for these eight week courses will be €160 and includes all course materials.
All these courses will take place in the institute’s study centre in Galway city. The institute provides a welcoming and friendly environment in which students can learn the Spanish language in a positive way.
