Actress Pauline McLynn to be honoured at MADRA Dogathon

Actress Pauline McLynn will be honoured at the MADRA Paws on the Prom Dogathon taking place this weekend.

McLynn will be the first recipient of the MADRA Best Friend award for her tireless advocacy work for animals.

The charity fundraising walk takes place this Sunday at 1pm from the Claddagh to Blackrock.

Co-founder of the dog rescue and adoption charity, Marina Fiddler said; ““We are delighted that Pauline is the first recipient of this award. Pauline grew up in Galway and we felt she should be recognised for her advocacy work on behalf of all animals.”
