Joyce’s Supermarket Knocknacarra are hosting a Coeliac Awareness Information Evening to coincide with Coeliac Awareness Week 2019. This event is in association with the Coeliac Society of Ireland and will take place on May 17th from 6pm-8pm.
The purpose of this event is to educate customers on coeliac disease, to promote the benefits of membership with the coeliac society and to showcase the range of gluten-free products available in Joyce’s stores.
Dietitian Aisling Snedker will be there on the night and will be discussing various aspects of coeliac disease including: signs and symptoms of coeliac disease, what to do when you are first diagnosed, understanding food labelling and much more. She will also answer any questions you may have.
Various suppliers of gluten-free foods will also be in attendance on the night offering samples of their certified gluten-free foods for people to taste.
So if you or someone you know suffers from coeliac disease be sure to head along on the night and learn all about what being coeliac means and how the Coeliac Society of Ireland can support people who suffer from the disease.
More Value, Great Choice, that’s Joyce’s.
