The Ardilaun Leisure Club is the perfect choice for getting fit, and should be top of everyone’s list to join. Now in its 10th year, The Ardilaun Leisure Club in leafy Taylor’s Hill goes from strength to strength and offers its members and guests even more facilities and activities to choose from.
The Ardilaun introduced six months membership in January which has proved popular. Join now and avail of summer membership five months for the price of four months.
Gym classes
The club has all the latest state-of-the-art technology with new gymnasium equipment in the fitness suite, plasma screens and stereo system, Greco-Roman deck level swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, and therapy suites in Avalon Beauty Salon. Personal programmes are devised for each member and, variety being the spice of life, there is an extensive class schedule with more than 30 classes to choose from, which run weekly including aerobics, bosu, aqua aerobics, and spinning classes, all included in the membership fee. A new pre-natal aqua class starts on April 25 for women wishing to exercise during pregnancy with some nutrition tips provided. The course will run for seven weeks at a cost of €50 for non-members and free for members.

The Ardilaun Leisure Club has been recently awarded the White Flag Award and was one of five leisure clubs in Galway which achieved this prestigious award. It is a quality mark which highlights to all customers, staff, and the general public that The Ardilaun Leisure Club is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality in the leisure industry. The club has recently run a successful calorie count and table quiz in March which is part of the successful on-going social calendar in the club.
Summer golf
The Ardilaun Leisure Club has specially designed programmes to improve your golf swing and add 10 yards to your game. The Ardilaun Leisure Club is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a round of golf in the tranquil wellness area which includes a soothing Jacuzzi and muscle-tension relieving sauna and steam room.
The Ardilaun Golf Society runs a popular calendar of outings with a recent trip to Cregmore Golf Club, and Athenry and Oughterard planned for the coming months.
Koala Kids Club
The Ardilaun Leisure Club is organising its next Koala Kids Club which takes place during the Easter holidays from Tuesday April 14 to Friday April 17. Activities include swimming, rounders, soccer, arts and crafts, quizzes, treasure hunts, face painting, and much more, from 10am to 2pm daily. Each child receives a Koala Kids souvenir T-shirt. The Koala Kids Club will also run for the months of July and August. The Ardilaun is running an Easter bunny hunt and show on Monday April 13, special packages are available.
