Futureproof your career

The Irish Institute of Training and Development’s Trainer Skills Certificate is a massive step towards futureproofing your career. Within the world of work, several factors mean the workplace of the future will be a very different place than it is currently. Previously, organisations offered clear pathways for their employees, but this certainty will soon become outdated.

The best place for organisations to source talent is from within, and to nurture it. An internal supply of talent demonstrates that there is a value placed on the employees' skills and the message that promotions occur within, and it sends out positive signals.

Completing the IITD Trainer Skills Certificate firmly places you ahead of the curve in a strong job market, establishing yourself as a learning and development specialist. The biggest differentiator between an IITD course and others, is that you will be taught by the very best course facilitators who learned through industry best practice.

The Trainer Skills Certificate is not simply a course – it is the beginning of a career. The second module, the IITD Training Needs Analysis ajd Design Certificate (6N3325 ), completes the full Professional Practice Certificate (QQI Level 6 award ) and can be completed in September. Register for this course and you will gain free entry to an IITD event during the summer.

The IITD, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is the non-profit professional body representing members concerned with human resource training and development in Ireland. The IITD leads the L&D profession in Ireland by inspiring and promoting excellence in practice to develop individuals and organisations to reach their full potential.

Begin your journey to a formal QQI qualification this June. Four classroom days will take place on June 7, 14, 21, and 28 at The Connacht Hotel, Galway. Participants can gain a full QQI award in September by completing the training needs analysis module.
