Tom Stade's generational conundrums

Canadian comic faces up to ageing and changing times and tastes in new show

TOM STADE is "so cool he could well be the answer to global warming," according to The Scotsman, who also called him "gloriously funny”, as Galway will see when he plays the Róisín Dubh this weekend.

Tom Stade, who has appeared on Channel 4's Comedy Gala, BBC’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The John Bishop Show, and Live at the Apollo, and at the 2017 Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, brings his new show, I Swear To, to the Róisín this Sunday at 8pm.

In this show, the Canadian comic will attempt to figure out where he fits into this emerging new world of feelings and FaceTime. Exactly when did he, and all the things he holds most dear, become 'vintage', and why did he not see it coming?

Tickets are €18 from the Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or at the door.
