SENSORY SUNDAY is a new series of film screenings at the Pálás, aimed at providing a comfortable and calming cinema-going experience for those on the autism spectrum, or who have sensory conditions or learning difficulties.
Sensory Sundays is open to adults and children, and takes place on the last Sunday of every month at 10.30am, starting this Sunday [April 28]. The opening film will be Wild Rose, starring Irish actor Jessie Buckley, as a Scottish woman juggling her job and two children with her dream of becoming a country music star.
There will be low lighting and sound levels; the audience will be able to move around during the film and can bring their own food. Tickets will be at a reduced rate and assistance dogs are welcome. See palas.ie/about/our-programme/sensory-sundays
