Galway angling groups invited to funding meeting

Inland Fisheries Ireland is hosting a funding information workshop in Galway for angling clubs and communities groups.

The funding has been made available for fisheries conservation projects and development projects nationwide through the National Strategy for Angling Development for those interested in applying to its 2019 funding call.

The workshop will be held in The Maldron Hotel, Oranmore, Galway at 8pm on May 3, and members of the public are invited to attend.

Staff from Inland Fisheries Ireland will outline the various funding schemes and provide guidance around how to submit an expression of interest for funding. Applications are invited from angling clubs, local development associations, Tidy Towns and others who may be looking to carry out projects.
