A Ravens Street Festival down Galway's Westend - Easter Street Feast sees thousands flock to Galway's Westend!

After its inaugural first year in 2017, The Westend Street Feast returned to Ravens Terrace on Easter Bank Holiday Monday 22 April with some of the areas best-loved restaurants popping up as part of the Easter Celebrations.

The Street Feast saw over 2,500 people enjoy the sunshine, live music and of course food offering of all the vendors. The event kicked off at 11 am and Galway's Westend teamed up with Walsh Waste to make this a biodegradable and compostable festival, using eco-packaging and take away materials.

Ravens Terrace was closed off to traffic completely and there was live music a Gramophone installation from sculptor Donnacha Cahill and face painting. This is a really family-friendly day in the Westend that aims to encourage people to cross the bridge and enjoy all that is going on in this much-loved area of Galway.

The Street Feast vendors all completely sold out as people sampled the delights of Dela Restaurant, Gourmet Tart, Handsome Burger, Hooked on Henry Street, Salthouse , Massimo Bar, Monroes, BoTown, Avo Nice Day and Marcos Crisps, Fresh Juices from the Galway Markey, Danny Doughnuts and Merci Beaucoup Pastries as well as Daisy Bowl Florists who was on hand to provide her insider knowledge on all things flowers and potted plants.

The next Westend summer festival will run all day Monday 3rd June.
