Athenry has an Easter treat for Galwegians this weekend at the town's Heritage Centre.
Families can engage in a medieval experience, including dressing up in medieval costume, a fun engaging tour of the centre, and a test of skills with the ancient sport of archery.
The activities are inclusive for all age groups and promises to be a great day out in this medieval town.
The centre is located in the centre of Athenry, 20 minutes from Galway city.

The centre is open every day except Easter Monday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The Athenry Heritage Centre also provides general guided tours which are available throughout the day.
