TOM RHODES started comedy while in the 11th grade in school in the US and used a fake ID to gain entrance into clubs. He’s come a long way since.
These days Tom travels the world playing all of the major comedy clubs and he will play The Laughter Lounge in the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday April 15 at 9pm.
Tom rose to fame in the 1990s as spokesman for Comedy Central. He also starred in the NBC sitcom Mr Rhodes and on The Kevin Masters Show. He was the first stand-up comedian to be given a talent deal by Comedy Central, hosting Viva Vietnam: A White Trash Adventure Tour. He shot his second Comedy Central presents... in August 2008.
Support is from James Goldsbury, who wrote for Channel 4’s Headwreckers. Chris Kent is on the open spot. The MC will be Karl Spain.
Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.
