Supermac’s to launch new dating app!!

The number of romances that began in Supermac’s is the inspiration behind the newest venture by Ireland’s largest chain of family restaurants.

Supermac’s is about to launch a new dating app based on whether a customer is a garlic chips lover or a snack box aficionado.

“The idea came from the number of people that send in emails thanking us for bringing them together as they are about to get married,” said Supermac’s MD, Pat McDonagh. “Many’s a romance has begun over a debate about which is nicer - curry chips or garlic chips or whether the dressing should be on the chips or on the side. Since we started in Ballinasloe over 40 years ago I’d say we’ve had thousands of emails from couples in the lead up to their wedding day thanking us for helping to bring them together.”

According to relationship experts, one of the key ingredients for a perfect relationship is an interest in your partner's interests. With this in mind, Supermac’s has developed a dating algorithm for online food orders. The algorithm generates genuine potential suitors by analysing their location, time of order and product ordered. By analysing these habits, the app can successfully find you your perfect match. So, if you thought that there was nobody else out there that loved Supermac’s Curry Cheese Chips as much as you, then you’re wrong…and he or she could be the love of your life.

“Having analysed our customer's purchases we able to ascertain that 42.3% of females in Dublin City are attracted to 67.8% of men from Mayo who like Taco Chips,” Mr McDonagh said. “I never saw myself as Cupid but thousands of people can’t be wrong”.
