Leading Galway accountancy and tax consultants TJ Hyland & Co has been awarded Business All-Star accreditation for Best Family Business by The All-Ireland Business Foundation at an exclusive event for business leaders at Croke Park.
Just 85 of 450 applicants from across Ireland were awarded the unique quality mark that recognises the highest standards of service and trust.
Mark Hyland of TJ Hyland & Co was delighted to accept the award and said the accreditation gives national recognition to the firm which was established by his father in 1979.
“The accreditation reflects more than 40 years of our commitment to client relations and the highest quality standards,” Mr Hyland said.

It is the second time TJ Hyland & Co has been recognised by the All Ireland Business Foundation after it was honoured with the All-Star Lifetime Service Award 2018-19 at the All-Star competition at the All-Ireland Business Summit in Croke Park in May 2018.
In 2018 TJ Hyand & Co was also announced as a finalist in the Irish Accountancy Awards, the premier event for benchmarking excellence in the accountancy profession in Ireland.
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is responsible for overseeing the All-Ireland Business Summit and All-Star awards and ongoing All-Star accreditation.
Dr Briga Hynes, co-chair of the Business All Stars adjudication panel said the accreditation is needed by thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards yet have nothing to measure them by.
“It provides very important credible and transparent benchmarking that hasn’t been available up to now, allowing companies to very clearly understand where they are versus their competitors,” Dr Hynes said.
