MSC Cruise Lines launched its newest ship MSC Bellissima recently in Southampton at a star studded event christened by Sophia Loren and entertained by Andrea Bocelli, Caroline and Fiona from Cruise Worldwide at Fahy Travel were also on board.
MSC Bellissima offers a stunning array of features to rival those of her sister ship, MSC Meraviglia. First of all, innovative MSC for Me technology provides an enhanced onboard experience, connecting guests with each other, the crew, and the ship itself. Furthermore, guests on board MSC Bellissima will experience the world’s first digital cruise assistant, Zoe, a voice-enabled artificial intelligence device fitted in every cabin.
In addition, guests will be spoiled for choice with 12 international dining venues and 20 bars to choose. For entertainment, there are two new Cirque du Soleil shows designed especially for MSC Bellissima, and the desert themed water park - an oasis for children and families. MSC has partnered with Lego and the children's facilities on board are second to none.
The longest LED Dome at Sea: The entire ceiling of the inside promenade is covered by a giant 480sq m LED screen transmitting visual magic round the clock — an atmospheric digital sky that animates the whole area from above with inspiring vistas, events, sunrises, sunsets, and starry night skies.
Galleria Bellissima: This 96m central promenade is filled with boutiques, restaurants, and tranquil spots for shopping, eating, and relaxing, as well as socialising. And in the evening, it comes alive with music, parties, and entertainment.

MSC Belissima is currently sailing from Barcelona around the Mediterranean weekly until November. She then moves to Dubai and will spend the winter cruising around the United Arab Emirates.
