A joint fundraising charity coffee morning/tea day and bake sale will take place in Ardrahan this weekend in aid of Self Help Africa and the Galway Hospice, and people are being asked to show their support.
Carmel Murphy from Ardrahan has decided to host another of her special coffee morning/tea and bake sale days from 11am to 3pm on Saturday at Labane Hall. Ms Murphy is organising the event along with her son Darragh and many friends to raise funds in aid of the great work of these two very worthy charities.
Self Help Africa works with communities in 10 countries in Africa, providing families with the ability to produce more food, earn more from their farming activities, and helping mothers and fathers to provide a better life for their children.
The Galway Hospice supports patients from counties Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon with advanced illnesses needing palliative care to attain the best quality of life possible, free of charge.
