'I CAN And I Will', the new single from Connemara singer-songwriter Seanie Vaughan, is out today, with all proceeds from the single, as well as from his upcoming gigs, going to Down Syndrome Ireland.

The single's release coincides with World Down Syndrome Day. Mixing pop-rock and alt-folk, the song describes a parent's journey through dealing with a diagnosis of Down Syndrome for their child. Seanie will have shows in Dublin and Drogheda, and this Saturday at 9pm he plays The Black Gate Cultural Centre, St Francis Street.

Seanie has released two albums – Altered Vision (2011 ) and Redemption (2015 ). Both reached the Top 10 of the Irish Indie Album charts (Nos 5 and 7 respectively ). Pure M magazine called Seanie "infectious, unmissable" and said he was "en-route to becoming an integral part of Irish rock". The Irish Independent described him as "a class act".

Tickets are €10.85 (including booking fee ) and are available through Eventbrite and Seanie Vaughan Music Facebook Page.
