Galway Ladies close in on league semi-final

Galway Senior Ladies footballers have a chance to qualify for the league semi-finals when they travel to Tipperary on Saturday (7pm ).

Unbeaten, and with two rounds still to play, Galway will ensure they qualify for the semi-finals if they produce a fifth win on the trot.

Galway have the maximum 12 points to date, while Tipperary have just one win going into this round five fixture of the Lidl National League in New Inn, Co Tipperary.

Galway manager Tim Rabbitt has made one change to his squad, with Corofin's Dearbhla Gower replacing Kilkerrin Clonberne's Lisa Murphy in goal, as Galway continue the practice of rotation goalkeepers for the league.
