Olivia Collins, agency director and owner at Food PR & Communications, is celebrating 15 years in business this year.
Food PR & Communications, based in St Augustine Street, is the only full service communications agency in Ireland that is solely dedicated to the food, drinks, and hospitality industry. Starting her entrepreneurial journey and agency as Those Two Girls PR, one of the first PR agencies in the city, the agency has evolved into the respected and niche agency, Food PR.
“Over the 15 years in business we grown the agency organically and developed our services so we stay relevant in a constantly evolving industry.
“As a Galway-based agency with national and international clients it’s important we stay ahead of the curve in terms of best practice, effective and efficient tools and encourage and nurture creativity and freshness in all campaigns we work on’.
The Food PR team is made up of a team of passionate, dynamic and dedicated food lovers who provide communications, PR and social media management services to the agency’s long list of established clients, many of whom have worked with Olivia for more than a decade.
Olivia Collins is currently expanding the team and recruiting for Galway-based roles.
“Developing a team of professional PR’s and attracting talent to Galway, to work, live and develop a career has always been a challenge. I would like more grads and young people starting or mid-career to see Galway as a place where that talent is nurtured and encouraged with real career prospects. Career prospects are not necessarily confined to capital cities anymore, other creative industries have proven that and I hope our industry will follow suit,” she says.
Through a combination of creative campaigns and smart thinking, Food PR & Communications have enabled their clients to become both national brands and household names and continue to look forward to the challenges and opportunities the next 15 years in communications will bring.
