GASH COLLECTIVE will be taking over all three floors of Electric on International Women's Day, with an array of DJs playing, and there will be a talk on women in music, and a vinyl and production workshop.
International Women's Day is on Friday March 8. Berlin based DJ SPFDJ will spin her blend of acid, techno, trance, and hardcore in Factory. Joining her are up-and-comers Endrift and Eliza playing a special b2b set.
Dream~Cycles, recently commisioned by NTS to soundtrack an installation at the Tate Museum in London, will be on the rooftop, joined by Byron Yeates who will close proceedings with house, techno and electro. Queen Beatz and Gadget & The Cloud will be looking after the Main Floor playing hip-hop, R&B, trap and club bangers. Proceedings kick off at 11pm.
Workshop and talks
That same evening, but ahead of the party at Electric, GASH will host a vinyl workshop (7pm-8pm ) and production workshop (8pm-9pm ). The workshops are open to all, but are geared mainly towards female-indentifying people and LGBTQ+. WWW (9pm-10pm ) will also host a talk to bring together women working across the music industry, looking to exchange information, ideas, and experiences.
