PADRAIG STEVENS and Leo Moran, two of Galway's greatest and most popular singer-songwriters, will play new songs, old favourites, and sing-alongs, as well as tell some stories at their gigs in Galway city and Tuam.
Stevens and Moran play The Ruby Room in The King's Head at 9pm on Thursday March 7 and Friday 8. They also play The Mall Theatre, Tuam, on Friday March 15.
Moran is best known as guitarist and songwriter of The Saw Doctors, while Stevens' songs have been recorded by The Saw Doctors, Christy Moore, Matt Keane, Michael English, and Eleanor Shanley. While they have collaborated in various projects since the early 1980s, it was only in February 2017 they started playing together as a duo. Indeed their debut gigs as a duo took place in The Ruby Room. The Mall in Tuam will be a hometown gig.
Tickets for The King's Head shows are available from the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ). Tickets for The Mall gig are from Quinn's, Bishop Street, Tuam.
