Following the successful phase 1 launch last November of Doire Fea, the new residential development in Moycullen, the next release of housing has been confirmed by BRTW Developments. Construction of Phase 1, which comprised 12 homes, is well advanced with completion dates scheduled for April, while the build programme for the next phases is also under way and progressing well.
Doire Fea comprises a selection of large three, four, and five bedroom homes and is located approximately 500 metres from the village centre, close to the local primary school, church, and to the rear of An Teaghlach Uilinn Retirement Centre. Kilrainey Woods forms the backdrop to this development of only 50 homes.
Phase 2 will have a limited number of three bed terraced and four bed semidetached houses, while the only five bed detached house in the development has also been made available. Extremely generous areas are provided in these homes with the three beds extending to 141sq m (1,516sq ft ), the four beds from 145sq m (1,560sq ft ) to 158sq m (1,702sq ft ) while the five bed detached extends to 203 sq m (2,190 sq ft ). Prices start from €289,500.
The new energy efficient Doire Fea homes will be BER A-Rated with the associated benefit of low running costs and extremely comfortable living conditions for families. Heating is by an air to water heat pump system while all homes will be fitted with a heat recovery ventilation system.
Doire Fea is the latest project by BRTW Developments, an established house building company headquarted in Galway, and offers highly efficient, concrete built, and architecturally designed homes that incorporate modern building materials and technologies.
In addition, the homes at Doire Fea qualify for the Help to Buy Scheme, the Government's tax refund initiative for first time buyers. This incentive is due to expire at the end of 2019 and first time buyers should register with Revenue as they could be eligible for a tax rebate of five per cent of the value of the property, up to a maximum of €20,000.
