Monaghans Galway, the first Skoda dealer in Ireland, has been a constant presence on the Tuam Road for more than 25 years.
Many changes have taken place in that time, most recently the expansion of the site which enables customers to move freely to the petrol station. The result has allowed Monaghans to offer an even greater range of quality pre-owned cars on site for the people of Galway and the west of Ireland.
Now Monaghans has decided to bring back its popular two-year unlimited mileage warranty on approved used Skodas, and this year, has also decided to extend it to the range of used Seats.
This offer applies to any car five years old or younger, with a mileage of less than 120,000kms.
Leo Monaghan, director principal of Monaghans Galway, says the company has decided to run the offer again because it was so successful in 2018.
"It gives a customer peace of mind, in addition to the great value for money that’s already available on our used car range,” he says.
"This offer is combinable with finance from 0% (on amounts up to €5,000 ) or competitive low-rate finance from Volkswagen Bank on amounts greater. All vehicles are also subject to a complete 120-point vehicle health check and will come fully serviced by our award-winning workshop, fully valeted and with NCT [if required]."
Skoda and Seat have also extended their offers on new cars until the end of February. Customers ordering a new Skoda can avail of finance from 0% or scrappage up to €4,000 on selected models across the range (not combinable with 0% ). Customers purchasing a new Octavia diesel or Superb (excluding Sportline ) on 0% can also avail of a deposit contribution of €1,000 towards their new car once they finance it through VW Bank. The finance rate on the popular Skoda Kodiaq has been reduced to 2.9% on PC .
Seat has just launched its challenger to the Kodiaq which is the stylish Tarraco. This is now available to test drive in the showrooms on the Tuam Road and is a strong contender in this segment. The strong 191 offer includes finance from 0% and scrappage of up to €5,000. The small SUV (the Arona ) has also won Irish Small Crossover of the Year 2019 at the Irish Car of the Year Awards.
