DENISE HOGAN, the award winning Galway artist, has announced the dates of her new spring term, including weekly art classes in oils, acrylics, and watercolours, along with a new aspect to her classes.
The weekly morning and evening classes are open to all levels of experience. There will also be a series of one-day workshops including one-day oil painting which takes place on Saturday March 2. All materials and a home-cooked lunch are provided in the workshops.
Denise is currently undertaking a part-time certification entitled Creativity & Change in Crawford Art College, Cork. "This course is teaching me so much about how we learn, and how much we need to unlearn, in order to be able to access our creativity in a meaningful and lasting way," says Denise. "I’m excited to be able to offer these new teaching techniques in my weekly classes and workshops. So far, students are reporting a combination of increased confidence in their abilities to learn as well as an overall sense of fun and wellbeing."
