A lunchtime classical concert

Well known Irish and English tunes from the 16th and 17th centuries

SUCH WELL known tunes as 'Sí Bheag Sí Mhor' and 'Greensleeves' will be heard at a lunchtime concert of 16th and 17th century music in the O’Donoghue Centre, NUI Galway.

Music For Galway's next concert in its lunchtime series takes place on Wednesday January 30 at 1pm, and will also feature works by William Byrd and John Dowland. The performers will be Laoise O'Brien (recorders ), Eamon Sweeney (baroque guitar/lute ), and Malachy Robinson (bass viol ).
